Born 1948, Sharon Hisaye Yamamoto, Chicago, Illinois. Third generation Japanese-American. Attended the Art Institute of Chicago Junior School. Later attended Illinois Wesleyan University as a scholarship student. Graduated 1969, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Summa Cum Laude. Married, raised family and settled in London 1969 - 1995.
